Rainbow Connection uses a sliding scale fee structure. The same quality of care is offered at three price points, so support is never out of reach — and choosing to Pay-It-Forward makes it possible for someone else to receive care.
Pay-It-Forward
Folks who have financial stability, steady income, savings to lean on, room in the budget beyond the essentials. This tier sustains the practice, covering business costs, insurance, and continuing education, and makes the Gift tier possible for someone else when they need it most. Thank you!!
Standard
People who are managing their everyday budget and covering the basics comfortably. This tier asks for a meaningful contribution while staying within easy reach.
Gift
Those navigating job loss, housing instability, or overwhelming medical costs. This tier exists so finances are never the reason anyone goes without support. If this tier still feels impossible, please reach out!

In-Person Consulting includes a $50.00 Presence Fee to account for the emotional labor of entering a grieving family’s home, not just travel time or mileage.

Hourly Rate: $65.00 / hour
First 15 minutes: $20

Additional Services & Fees
Sitting with a family during active dying, holding space for grief, and helping navigate difficult decisions asks for deep reserves of empathy.
Presence Fee: $50.00 / visit.
Zone 1 (Yellow) (Baseline Rate — No Travel Fee): Includes Alexandria City, Arlington County, and inner-beltway areas.
Zone 2 (Red): (+$35 Fee)
Zone 3 (Blue & Green): (+$65 Fee)
Extended Radius: $1.50 per mile
Tolls: Clients will be billed for actual toll costs (e.g., Express Lanes on I-495/I-95, Rt. 66, or the Dulles Toll Road).
